No More Glasses!

While health care costs continue to spiral out of control, Lasik doctors and sites are growing by advertising. No money down, Low cost eye surgery and yes, even SALES! The difference?

Lasik is not covered by insurance so the medical industry cannot overcharge, nor do they need to.
The consumer is much more price aware because they’re the ones paying the bills

Do you think it’s possible for us to consider health care in light of this model? How about universal health care to a given level of care. Not the Canadian, wait weeks to see a doctor type but something reasonable that can cover most common problems and clear out the emergency rooms overflowing with those that have no health insurance.

Yes, it would be a 2 tier coverage program but is it really worse than what we have?

Weren’t these the same people in the media that made the big deal about the silicone breast implants a few years ago. Remember…. they were so dangerous etc. etc. etc.

Well, they’re back on the market and surprise, their scare tactics only served to cause more anxiety.

Heart stents treated with medication are great…. no they aren’t… yes they are… no they aren’t etc. etc. etc.

If people don’t know, maybe the media should just SHUT THE HECK UP!
